The Sky Net Computing

The Sky Net

Contribute to science and use your computing power to process radio astronomy data!

Radio astronomers use radio telescopes to observe the Universe at radio wavelengths, they “listen” signals from distant galaxies, stars and other objects in the Cosmos. Signals from those telescopes are then processed through great number of computers connected via internet, thus simulating a powerful supercomputer.

Joining this project, only small packets of data will be processed through your computer,  which you won’t even probably notice. That’s because it uses just the spare processing power.

So be in for a good thing and help scientists to discover the Universe and write history.
